We often hear people say: "Never look backwards!" I don't agree at all. Looking back we can see things from another perspective and we can realize how many things we have been able to overcome. I do it often and I did it also riding my bicycle: I stopped and looked behind me "Wow but it's wonderful! I was right there!" or "Ohlala! and this too has passed". I noticed things I couldn't see if I stayed focused on what was ahead of me (the future). Looking back (in my past) I could see everything in a more COMPLETE way. Look backwards and you can always be a little bit proud of yourself. Armenia has been a very pleasant discovery. Here I was about one month on the road. My first trip on a bicycle. My biggest step in the unknow outside my comfort zone. The best step ever. After one month I was already amazed ... amazed by wonderful people, places and by myself: I was doing it! Alone. Many laugh and tears of joy, and also of sadness ... Impossible at that moment imagine how many things were waiting for me ... It has been an incredible trip not only for my body but also for my soul and today I'm feeling a sort of melacholy. Right now, a year ago (December 2017), I was about to cross the border between Argentina and Chile ... endless km against the wind, nights in beautiful forests in a desolate land, but still full of history ... a sad history. .. October 2017, Kyrgyzstan. This became my new riding setting: my loaded bicycle Bicio, a bottle with some milk and a kitten. Since that day we became inseparable.
